How to Learn New Skills (the Video)

"A person's success in life can usually be measured by doing what makes you uncomfortable," says Tim Ferriss. For most, that means learning new skills. But you can't become a good leader, salesperson, data analyst, or data scientist by reading a book, sitting in class, or watching a video.

Entelechy means to turn what is potential into reality, like sculpting a hunk of marble into a beautiful piece of art. I learned about entelechy about 30 years ago. It helped me learn to make uncomfortable phone calls, present in front of a room of people, and negotiate. For me, these were hard skills to learn.

The concept of #entelechy traces to Aristotle. I've met just a handful of people who have heard of the word and might be the first person to make it into a hashtag :) Entelechy helped me, so I'm sharing it with you today. Watch my new 3-minute explainer, "How to Learn New Skills," below.
